Classroom Library Book Checkout
Lisa Stringfellow presented at the Tech Teach Learn conference at the Kentucky Country Day School about a great resource she uses in her classroom. Many of us English teachers have a hoard of personal books that we freely lend to students. Sometimes we don't get them all back. The Classroom Organizer lets you create a personal book lending system for your class. You can add books and add students to the site. When a student wants to check out a book, they can log in and check it out. It also provides data about who is reading what types of books, how long books are checked out, and how many books students may be reading. When you end up with a large classroom library full of interested readers, this is a great source!
