After scouring over Pinterest this summer, I found a great Poetry teaching tool. The Poe-tree explains the different types of poems discussed in class. It also offers examples (under the leaves). This clever and interactive anchor chart can be referenced throughout the poetry unit. It's also a pretty cool play on words that ties in nicely with poetry. Check out my Poe-tree below.
